Episode Three: Building A Community Through Daytimers, With Rohan Rakhit

I'm super excited for you lot to listen to episode three, with Rohan Rakhit. Rohan is NW London based Dj, broadcaster on Worldwide Fm, actor, and one of the core members of the South Asian Underground crew, Daytimers. In this episode Rohan talks about how becoming a part of Daytimers, discovering his 'people', and learning more about Brit-Asian history really helped his sense of self and purpose. As well as touching on the lack of representation of South Asian creatives right now, why every brown kid played the flute, and of course sharing some of Rohan's favourite South Asian tracks, both old and new!

I honestly enjoyed chatting to Rohan so much, and felt like much less of an imposter in my South Asianness afterwards!
